齊柏林飛船飛越耶路撒冷 (1929 / 1931)
齊柏林號飛船建於1928年. 全長 804 呎 (245米)
足有兩個球場的長度. 她與興登堡號為姊妹船, 均注滿氫氣,
浮在空中. 飛航歐洲, 美洲地區.
飛船曾於 1929 及 1931年由德國來回埃及開羅.
航程需 97 小時, 距離 9000 公里, 飛越 14 個國家.
她經過以色列一帶地方, 包括耶路撒冷, 海法
及約帕港的上空, 並在空中投下郵包.

以色列旅遊局最近推廣"福音徑" Gospel Trail.
這路徑由耶穌成長的城市拿撒勒,
一直通往他呼召門徒與及傳道的加利利
地區, 包括提比哩亞海, 迦百農等地.
"福音徑"全程約為60 公里,
沿途均設有路牌指示以及不同的設施.

猶太傳統以第八個月瑪西班月初十一日為拉結的忌日.
成千上萬的猶太人, 特別是婦女,
將會於這一兩天到訪於耶路撒冷和伯利恆路上的拉結墓.

拉結死了、葬在以法他的路旁．以法他就是伯利恆。
雅各在他的墳上立了一統碑、

楊尼的生活非常複雜：他快滿十三歲了，人很聰明，但身體發育尚未完全，所以他每天都在努力，希望能儘快擁有一副成年男子的身軀，以迎接自己即將舉行的成年禮。在學校，他的同學不斷地欺負他。在家裡，他的父母互不理睬；當他倆偶爾想談話的時候，則會透過楊尼來進行。
楊尼有個哥哥，名叫唐馬，今年十七歲。唐馬患了自閉症，多年來一直住在療養院。唐馬在楊尼即將舉行成年禮的時候回到家裡來，可謂禍不單行。這個家庭的基礎本來已是不甚穩固，現在整個家庭更加搖搖欲墜。
在這個家庭裡面，真正的成年人祇有楊尼一人。
楊尼在成年禮上需讀一段關於挪亞的經文，唐馬卻迷上了這段經文。楊尼對這個哥哥認識很少，但最後須獨自應付他。
楊尼終於長大成人，他的家人也隨著他一起成長。不過這家人的成長路途可以說是波折重重：因為他們沿途要面對令人痛苦的真相、過往的錯誤、及現在的悲傷。

As if all this weren't enough his autistic brother, Tomer, 17, locked away for years in an institution, returns home right before the ceremony. This shakes up the unstable foundation of the entire family. Being the only real adult in his family, Yoni ends up dealing on his own with a brother he barely knows, who becomes obsessed with Yoni's Torah-excerpt about Noah. It is a pretty rough growing up and growing together for the entire family as painful truths, mistakes of the past and sorrows of the present are confronted.

首映影片簡介 - 希望之物 (An Article of Hope)
2011年11月12日(六) 晚上8時正大會堂劇院
「希望之物」旨在宣揚人道與慈愛的訊息，令人振奮。此片敘述以色列首名太空人的故事，及記錄一小卷摩西五書從地球運往外太空的經過，情節曲折離奇。
2003年2月1日，太空穿梭機哥倫比亞號在重返地球的時候解體，以色列空軍上校伊倫．黎文和其他六名太空人罹難。在第二次世界大戰中曾經發生一場對猶太人的大屠殺，而其中一個大屠殺的地點就是奧斯威辛集中營。黎文是這個集中營其中一名倖存者的兒子。他覺得自己應該銘記那場大屠殺，及有責任為那場大屠殺作見證。他祇攜了幾件物品上太空，其中一件是一册小型的摩西五書。那册書是貝爾根-貝爾森集中營的倖存物品。這册書十分奇特，也極具象徵意義。
「希望之物」記錄了這册書那次意義重大的旅程，亦描述了黎文上校的一生及他與另外幾位太空人之間的深厚感情，並把兩者作一比較。片中既有辛酸的訪問，亦有關於哥倫比亞號這次任務發人深省的報導。整部電影從大屠殺期間的地獄深處出發，跨過五十年的時間，直達驚人的科學成就領域。
導演丹尼爾．高漢及特別嘉賓羅娜．黎文將會出席。

½ cup diced onion
zest of ½ orange
2 tablespoons margarine
1 cup orange juice
onion, minced
juice of ½ lemon
½ pound carrots, sliced
½ teaspoon salt
½ pound parsnips, sliced
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
4 ounces dried apricots, diced small
⅛ teaspoon allspice
4 ounces prunes, diced
¼ teaspoon pepper
⅓ cup honey
In a large soup pot, heat the margarine. Add the onion and sauté until tender. Add salt and pepper. Add carrots, parsnips, sweet potatoes, apricots, honey, zest and orange juice. Add seasonings and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer. Stir often. Cover and simmer 25 - 30 minutes, or until carrots and sweet potatoes are tender. Adjust seasonings as needed.
MEAT
Yield: 6-8
Marinade
½ cup diced onion
½ cup fresh cilantro
8 cloves garlic
¼ cup white vinegar
1 tablespoon dry thyme
1 tablespoon cumin
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon ground black pepper
3 bay leaves
4 cups water
1 4-5 pound brisket
In a food processor, rough-chop the onion with the garlic and cilantro. Transfer to a large container and add in the vinegar, seasonings and water. Stir well and submerge the brisket. Allow brisket to marinate overnight in the refrigerator. Cook in the marinade, covered with aluminum foil for approximately 3 hours, until meat is very tender. Remove from cooking liquid and cool slightly. Using two forks, shred the meat.

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, sliced
2 red bell pepper, julienne
1 green bell pepper, julienne
1 jalapeno, deseeded and chopped
Sauté the onions, peppers and jalapeno In a hot pan of oil until the onions are translucent. Set aside. In a hot pan of additional oil, sauté together batches of shredded brisket and the onion-pepper combination until crisp. Place batches in a casserole for quick reheating.

In an electric mixer, fit with a paddle attachment, beat the eggs and sugars. Add the coffee, honey, oil, apple cider, and lemon zest. Mix well and scrape the sides of the bowl as necessary to insure even distribution. In a separate bowl sift together the flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Slowly add to the mixer. Do not over mix. Pour the batter into a large greased and parchment lined loaf pan, until ⅔ full. Bake in a preheated 300˚ F. oven approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool in pan before removing from mold.

1 teaspoon whole black peppercorns
½ bunch parsley stems

How to prepare:
Combine all spices together.
Tie basic sachet into cheesecloth
Cook barley in boiling, salted water until barley is almost tender. Drain, shock in cold water and set aside.
In a medium soup pot smother vegetables and mushrooms in chicken fat. Lightly cook. Add cooked barley to vegetables. Stir well. Add chicken stock, porcini mushrooms, porcini liquid and sachet. Slowly simmer until vegetables are tender. Finish with Marsala and fresh parsley. Adjust seasonings with salt and pepper.
